Legacy Reserves Releases First Quarter Earnings and Update on Takeover Offer

Legacy Reserves announced that it earned $0.11 per share in the first quarter of 2009, compared to a loss of $0.71 per share in the same quarter last year and analyst estimates of earnings of $0.05 per share.
Legacy Reserves also announced that it has not yet made any decision regarding Apollo Management's offer to acquire all the outstanding units of Legacy Reserves common stock for $14.00 per unit in cash.
